Maha Malluh is a Saudi Arabian artist whose work chronicles and incorporates social, traditional and cultural aspects found in her native country. Incorporating mixed media installations, Malluh’s work addresses societal transformation, heritage and globalization and has been exhibited in prominent institutions across the globe.

Her artwork « Oil Candy », displays a series of crushed oil barrels telling the story of oil’s literal and symbolic role in Saudi Arabia’s identity and society.
